Happy Galentine's Day With The Style Six

Happy Valentine's Week, Lovely People!

I hope you are enjoying all things red, pink, and white this week and letting all your favorite people know how much you love them. I know it's cliche, but life is too short, so tell your family and friends that you love them.

Basketball season is ovah, y'all. I never thought I'd utter those words this year, but it's true and this Mama is so happy. Love watching Baby Girl play but the two to three nights a week (4 to 6 games because Alise played JV and Varsity) and practices in between got pretty old and to be honest, I've been done since Christmas. Even Alise seems happier to have somewhat of a life again. She's actually training for track season, now, but there aren't nearly as many track meets as basketball games!! Thank goodness!

Having said all that, it's fashion day with my Galentine's here on the blog today and I'm sporting some red and leopard love.  Hold that thought. Just look at that big hair, y'all! I felt like Dolly Pardon! Ha! It was actually a great hair day despite the dreary weather and rain.
Remember the Christmas blouse that I absolutely adored during the holidays and couldn't get enough of? Whelp! I decided to pair it with my favorite leopard jacket and I was stunned at how much I loved the combo. The blouse looked great with the jacket, I thought.
I get so many compliments and questions about my hair. Wayne was my photographer this particular morning and he asked me to turn my head (I don't know why!), so I thought I would show y'all the back of my hair since that's one of the more popular questions. I was just recently asked by a lady at a (don't say it!) basketball game if she could take a picture of my hair. I just giggle every time because I think it's so funny.
I probably should have done the half tuck thing, but it was cold and I honestly didn't think about it. There's always next time, right? And it will probably be this Friday when my man and I go out to dinner to celebrate.

It's your turn to link up with us! Thanks so much for joining us today and I hope you enjoy celebrating with those that you love later this week!

    1. Ha! What can I say? He was a good photographer that day. Most of the time, he's complaining that he has to get out of his recliner and do it!

  9. I really like this long leopard jacket. It reminds me of a cabi one I've tried on in the past. Yes, I'm sure your daughter (and you) are happy to have your lives back after BB season!
