I was a rebel and wore this outfit with ballet flats to the Mother Ship last week when I had the day all to myself for budget planning. It was pure bliss! Well, the being comfortable part was bliss. Budget, not so much.
I probably should have titled this post, I Stole My Daughter's Christmas Present AGAIN! If you missed last year's post - and are a little curious! - you can check out that post here. But seriously, what is the deal with wearing my daughter's shoes? My t-shirt, sweatshirt and jeans loving girl has pretty decent taste when it comes to footwear. I have to talk myself off the ledge when I'm buying shoes for her by reminding myself that I'm buying a pair of shoes that we can BOTH wear. #newmath. These Ugg suede sneakers are SO cute and even though I paid full price at a local boutique, they were on sale last week at Belk for $60. Maybe there's still time to grab a bargain!
I really need to do a closet purge. I move clothes around from season to season, but I haven't done a full blown closet clean out in a while. I have a hard time parting with clothes that are still in great shape and more than once I have kicked myself for getting rid of something and wishing I still had it. Have you done a closet purge this year already? And now it's your turn! Be sure to link up your favorite fashion or beauty post below. And as always, send us some ideas if there is something in particular that you would like to see on the weekly Style Six!

I used to wear my mom's shoes all the time when I was growing up - she always had the best heels! This outfit is adorable on you - glad you were able to wear it to work with your flats and enjoy it! Lookin' good my friend!

ReplyDeleteI bought a brown cardi & didnt think I'd wear it much - I wear it with EVERYTHIGNGGGG
I really hate when I purge something out of my closet and then regret it later. It's awesome that you can share shoes/clothes with your daughter. I definitely can not do that with my boys. LOL.
ReplyDeleteLove this cozy look! The sweater is so cute and perfect for a chilly winter day!

Well, those shoes are soooo cute but I'm surprised you haven't been wearing rain boots. :o)) I mean, is it EVER going to stop raining? Love the whole outfit! Sending hugs your way!
ReplyDeleteWell you look absolutely cute as a button, shoes and all. My mom and I were one shoe size apart. Katie and I are about the same size, but I'm not a very good sharer. LOL. XOXO
ReplyDeleteBaby girl does have great taste in shoes, mama! I need some of those cute wedge tennies, too. Or my daughter who lives here, does, and then I could borrow them!
ReplyDeleteThat is an adorable outfit! So cool you and your daughter can share shoes. Immediate outfit expansion!
