Speaking of outfits, I've discovered a new local boutique in town! Leigh and I shopped there the weekend before I left for Austin and I bought this wonderful balloon sleeved blouse. The floral and lace make this blouse look so feminine and girly. I wore it this past weekend when we had a family photo sesh with my parents, and brother's family. My parents are celebrating their GOLDEN anniversary next month, so Michael and I are gifting them with a huge family photo to go over their fireplace. My mom is especially excited about finally having a picture of all of us together. It's been a long time coming, that's for sure!
With our crazy schedule these days, I have not had time to take Alise shopping, so we got up early Saturday morning and went back to the boutique to find her something to wear for the photo. She chose the EXACT color top that I knew she would. What can I say? Our styles are so different and she is so predictable, but she also found an outfit for Christmas for me to wrap up, so that's a BIG WIN in my What-To-Get-A-Teenage-Girl-For-Christmas book!
