Style Six ~ Teal Inspo For Fall

I am IN LOVE with teal for Fall, y'all! Love, love, LOVE it! And it all started with this simple swing dress from -you're not going to believe this! - WALMART! This dress is less than $13 and is so comfortable for these Indian Summer days that we're still having here in Louisiana.

For the office, I styled it with Nickel and Suede zebra earrings, a bohemian necklace from Altar'd State, and black suede booties. It was the perfect simple look for a Friday behind my desk.

I'm totally coveting these teal Glacier Knit Earrings from Nickel and Suede. Can you say, "Santa, Baby?!"  Ha!  Actually, I might need them before Christmas! There! I said it! The "C-word"! Get ready friends, because the holidays will be here before you know it!

Here's some more teal inspiration for Fall! This sweater is absolutely beautiful and the perfect shade of my favorite fall color.
Love the pops of rust and brown with this cardi outfit.
Mustard is totally growing on me this season.
Soft Autumn's mustard is a soft muted yellow. It almost has a green tint when seen next to a true yellow. I've paired it with a warm red and brown. In the featured photo, the Soft Autumn model looks perfect in dark teal and mustard jeans. I also found an outfit with a navy blue t-shi
And THIS would be the perfect outfit for the office. Note to self: find burgundy pants ASAP!

Another office favorite, but I would burn slap up in this!

I simply could not let today's post end without showing you a picture of probably one of the most gorgeous butterflies I've ever seen. Just look at God's creation!
I have always loved butterflies and for a reason that I can't remember, they always remind me of my late father-in-law, who would have been 82 tomorrow. I was fortunate enough to get this shot a few Sundays ago when Wayne and I were working in the flower beds. Okay, HE was working and I was supervising. It's what I do best! But just look at those shades of blue.

And just LOOK who is enjoying the color teal with me this fall! My pic of the week goes to Jaymie at Everyday Style! Our booties are nearly the same as well! Great minds think alike, Jaymie, and as my Mama always says when I end up dressing like someone else, "That just means you have great taste!" Thanks for linking up with the Style Six!
And now it's your turn!

  15. Hi Laura!
Good to "meet" you. I know all the girls from this group and thought I would stop by your blog too, to meet you. I love teal as well, what a rich color and what a steal for your lovely dress! I live in NC, originally from Pittsburgh, so I get impatient for Fall and rebel-I do love that it is finally getting cooler. Love your peep toe booties!

Id love to have you join in my Turning Heads Tuesday linkup. It begins at 1 am Tuesdays.

  16. That teal is gorgeous! Wish I could wear a swing dress but they don't look good on me, dad gum it. Or maybe I just haven't found the RIGHT swing dress. I know Jennie at A Pocketful of Polka Dots rocks a swing dress, too. We have an Altar'd State but I haven't shopped there yet. Although, I like everything in their store windows!! Need to check them out.

  17. Fabulous dress, I love the colour! Beautiful butterfly photo!
