What My Blogging Friends Have Been Up To

I may be in a big ol' blog slump this summer, but my girls have been ON. POINT. lately with their blogs and social media content. I am SO stinkin' proud of them! I have designated myself as their biggest cheerleader for all their ingenuity and creativity. I consider myself so blessed to know each of these beautiful souls personally and to call them my best friends. It is so amazing how each of us offer such a unique perspective to our group as a whole and how our love and support for one another is real and genuine. And in case you missed it, last week, we sponsored our very FIRST blog linkup and the response totally blew us away! Thank you for linking up with us!

So today I just wanted to "re-share" each member of my tribe with you so that you can discover for yourselves their own, unique passions for blogging. I can't think of five bloggers that you should be following on social media more than these girls. They are simply the best!
My Texas girlfriend, Shelly, recently shared a Target try on sesh on her blog and Instagram stories. She showed us five summer dresses that were oh-so cute for nearly every summer occasion. Of course, my favorite was her favorite: the red wrap dress. Shelly and I have a lot in common and wearing dresses in the summer is definitely one of them. I think the fact that we both live in hot summer temps and high humidity neighboring states could be the reasons why we love them so much. I also thought the fact that Shelly "ordered" her dresses for pick up and tried them on in the comfort of her own home was kinda neat, too.

I think my beautiful friend, Kellyann, knocked it OUT of the park with her recent Pin It & Spin It post!  Wow! The concept of her post was to take a pin from Pinterest and "spin it" to your own personal taste and style. And THAT my girl, did, y'all! A Pinterest girl (and Mardi Gras dip lovin' girl!) after my own heart, too! We both love to browse the site for style ideas and yummy recipes. And I just realized as I'm typing this that Kellyann lives in a hot and humid state, too. Bless our hearts! Be sure to follow her Instagram stories! This Girlie is so dang funny and I love her front porch outfit of the day stories!

And bless Chrissy's heart, too, because she's smack in the middle of all the humidity, too! But y'all!  LOOK at who she got to model for her!! Vans! Skateboards! But alas! No Polo's. Ha! I thought this post was so fun because I mean seriously! How many of us can get our loves to model for us like that? And let me just say that ALL the men in Chrissy's world are just as handsome and fun! Alise thinks the twins are the cutest boys she's seen in a while (I don't think I've told you that, Chrissy! Unfortunately, I had to tell her that they were too young for her). She is the biggest connoisseur of SuperSeed Well donuts and muffins, too!

My favorite Cali Girl recently posted some Tips for Finding the Right Jumpsuit. If you are on the jumpsuit train, well, I can assure you Lisa is driving that train! She is in love with jumpsuits this season and shared some great tips on finding the perfect one. Lisa and I are the shorter girls in the group, so we struggle with length and certain styles, but you'll have to visit her blog to find out just where she found the perfect one! Lisa is also a Rodan and Fields consultant and would love to talk to you about their Lash Boost Serum. Her lashes are the longest I've ever seen!!

I'll be honest. I was ready to hop a flight out to the Windy City when Andrea told us that she was meeting up with some fantastic bloggers for the evening last month. No fair. I wanted to go, too! But I honestly can't think of a kinder person that deserved the chance of getting to meet some new friends from Blog Land. If you follow Andrea on Insta-stories, then you know what a fabulous time they had shopping and eating all the delicious food at those fine Chicago restaurants. And in case you missed it last week, her red, white, and blue charcuterie board is pretty awesome, too!

Stop by and say Hello to these wonderful girls. And let them know that I sent you!

  1. Well, what a sweet, sweet surprise! I'll never tire of that picture of all of us - it is honestly my very favorite. You are the best cheerleader my precious friend and what you wrote about each of us is on point - we are blessed to know one another and I know God brought us all together for a greater purpose. I'm thrilled to watch His plan unfold!

  8. You guys are quite the tribe. The best part of this group is the support and genuine good feelings you have for one another. It feels easy. And mutual. I long to find a similar fit with a group of bloggers.

Hope you are enjoying your summer. You had a rough patch with Wayne and his health scare. If blogging a whole bunch doesn't feel right for now, just go with it. And then start back to being the busy blogger you were when the time is right. Hoping you are still bringing back 3 Things in the fall!!! XO
