Happy 7th Birthday Alise!

It is becoming a Horton family tradition to spend Alise's actual birthday with family and we were so fortunate that her seventh birthday was on a Saturday.  That meant that we got to share the ENTIRE day with our Baby Girl and do whatever she wanted to do.  It was totally "Alise Day!"

She woke up at 7:30 and by 7:35, she was fully dressed and ready to starther day!  Here she is with a birthday donut!

And of course, there were gifts involved!  Books and clothes and the last picture is when she saw the box that had the TV that she has been begging for for her room.  Needless to say, she couldn't believe it!

First stop was the nail salon for mother-daughter pedicures!

Then, there was a quick stop at Target for a hula hoop that we {heaven forbid} forgot to include in her stack of gifts!  And from there, on to our local zoo!

Then, it was on to a late lunch at Ronin Habachi, but Alise refers to it as "Roman" and got lots and lots of birthday attention!

By this time, I was in dire need of a n-a-p!  I was exhausted!  We headed home and crashed!!  After we woke up, Alise swam for a few hours and then my parents and the Henslee's came over for cookie cake and ice cream.  Our Sam's just finished remodeling and added a bakery.  Angie suggested I try their cookie cake and so I did!  That thing was double-stuffed and it was very, very good!

Happy Birthday, Alise!!  We love you!!

  1. Katie loves her "Katie days!" We both enjoy our mommy and daughter time together.

What wonderful birthday Alise celebrated! I love the low key, personal birthday times much better than a bunch of kids running around. Shew! It wears me out just thinking about it. LOL! I know Alise had a wonderful birthday.

Have a wonderful Memorial Day weekend.

    Happy Birthday Alise!!!!
