Give Aways, Shoes, & Dogs

I wanted to show you Girlies the GREAT give away that I won a few weeks ago from Sew Girlie sponsored by Semi-Slacker Mom. This big pail turned out SO cute and Alise is dying to use it this Easter in all her egg hunts, even though she already has a basket. My many thanks to Sew Girlie! Check them out!

And speaking of give aways....Cary over at Providence has got an amazing giveaway going on featuring Nat Kat Designs. Love, love, LOVE her stuff!! So much so that I've already contacted her about an order!! You'll love her personalized stationary, invitations, and art work, too! Check it out soon and leave a comment at Providence to register for the giveaway! Make sure to tell her that I sent you! Enjoy!

I had to go in to work this morning so Wayne and Alise went to church without me. When I got home, I saw this note laying on the counter with Alise's other Sunday School papers. It made me smile! Not sure exactly who Amy is but apparently she has the same taste as me!

And speaking of rocking, I'll admit that I didn't even know what "Twinkle Toe" shoes were until last week! So yesterday after we left the park, we stopped by Academy Sports so that I could get Alise a pair of cleats for t-ball. We were walking down the girls' aisle and Alise immediately started squealing over these shoes! Now, I'm not one to buy my daughter everything she wants {ahem} because honestly, she doesn't ask for a whole lot. She'll ask for candy over a toy or clothes any day. So when she told me that she really, really, really wanted these shoes, I caved and bought them. But only because they were on sale! Yes, they were more than the cleats, but not the $39 dollars that they retail for. And just who knew that cleats were so cheap? I'm not complaining, but I was really shocked to buy cleats for less than $10!

This afternoon, we had a friend bring over her new puppy named, Bella. L babysits for us and thinks the world of Alise. And now Alise thinks the world of L and Bella! Baby Girl wants a puppy so bad! She loves puppies! We would like to get her one, but it won't be until we buy another house. Hopefully, that is in our very near future.

  1. Cute shoes! Avery squeals every time the Lelli Kelly (sp?) commercial comes on. I have got to google those shoes and buy her some!

  3. Mary-Kate saw a commercial for Lelli Kelly's and wanted them. It was so funny. I love the shoes you got Alise. It looks like she loves the puppy. I hope you are able to get your new house so she can have one. We don't have a puppy, just a fish. I think it will stay that way no matter where we live. Ha!

Ok, Let me tell you that all cleats are NOT cheap! I won't even tell you what Jake just spent on his last pair of cleats!! But it is more than I spend on shoes in a year. But it was his money! (and you know I am cheap cheap cheap!!)
