This woman is obviously very very sick or desparate for attention & funds.
You know...I'm so surprised I hadn't heard about this before it all came up as a scam. The first time I remember hearing about it was when everyone started posting it being a scam. I'm so glad I wasn't sucked into the lie, and I feel bad for all those involved. What a sad, sad situation. :(
That is crazy, but very believeable. I was reading one similar I while back, different story but the same kind of deal. I questioned it from the get-on, but kept reading occasionally. After the baby's death, she quit blogging, now I really wonder. But as hard to believe, as it was, maybe my girl's story was true. Sometimes the things I post are hard to believe!:)
Dang at my mistakes. I'm going to bed.
This is so terrible!!
Wow! I just don't get it.
The entire saga...horrific. I think that article has some if-y statements that did not jive with the blog. More lies, I guess. Such a waste of time....the only comforting thing is knowing that no prayer is a waste. God knows our hearts. Made me sit back and reflect on the need to be so cautious on the web. I tend to see only the good in all...that is the way I am....it will burn you every time. Thank goodness I didn't invest my heart in that blog, but you know what--we basically paid her $$ each and every time we landed on that blog to read her updates. Those ads paid her a nice chunk of change considering she had ?million hits the day of the Reborn Dolly birth. And so it goes....NYC was sooo fun! We did a little damage at American Girl. ;)
Crazy woman! So scary there are ppl out there like that. Did you follow the blog? I didn't but my mom did.
I was an avid reader of that site, and often wondered what was going to happen when the baby was born. She was all about her anonymity, that I was wondering if she would post pictures of her and the baby, regardless of the outcome. It's a crazy world out there, I tell ya. Did you see her "apology" she posted?
